When You Need to Feel the Father’s Nearness

There are days when you don't just want to believe that God is near, but to truly feel His nearness — to experience His presence in a way that goes beyond your thoughts and settles into your heart. This longing is not shallow or misguided.

You were made for closeness.

Your soul was created for intimacy with the Father. And yet, feelings rise and fall. Emotions fluctuate. Awareness shifts. There are moments when God’s nearness feels tangible and others when it seems faint or absent altogether. But the Father’s closeness doesn’t depend on your awareness of it.

He is just as close in stillness as He is in moments of warmth or emotional reassurance. He never withholds Himself. He is never distant or disinterested.

He is closer than your breath, nearer than your thoughts, and more present than any emotion can measure.
