Humility Is the Freedom to Be Loved 

A humble person does not constantly criticize themselves or diminish their worth. Instead, they allow themselves to be loved without resistance. That’s why children accept affection so easily. 

They don’t ask:– “Are you sure you want to bless me?”– “I must earn this first.”– “I feel unworthy.”– “I need to perform better to deserve this.” 

They simply receive. 

Adults, however, have internal stories shaped by past wounds, rejection, performance-driven environments, and spiritual conditioning. These stories often tell us that we must earn what the Father freely gives. 

Humility dismantles those stories. Humility declares: “I cannot earn love. I can only receive it.” That’s why the proud struggle to trust God—they still think they must deserve Him. And that’s why the humble enter the kingdom easily—they’ve let go of the need to earn. 

Humility is an open heart that lets the Father’s love land in their little hearts.
