The Father stays when feelings fade.
Sometimes God feels distant because your heart is tired. Sometimes it's because you are overwhelmed. Sometimes it's because He is gently reshaping your trust. Sometimes it's because He is inviting you into deeper maturity. And sometimes, it's simply because you are human.
The Father isn't frustrated by your dryness or offended by your silence. He doesn't withdraw when you feel numb. He meets you exactly where you are — not where you think you should be.
Here's the quiet, hopeful truth: when God seems distant, He is often working beyond what your feelings can notice. He might be anchoring your faith below the surface, teaching you to trust His heart even when your senses offer little comfort.
He could be building an intimacy rooted not in emotion, but in love — and love is deeper than feeling.
When God feels distant, don't assume something has gone wrong. Don't judge His closeness by your feelings. Instead, rest in His promise: “I will never leave you nor forsake you.” Hebrews 13:5
Today, let that promise — not your feelings — be the anchor of your heart.
