The Father’s Table Has Room for Every Tradition
Jesus used many images to describe the kingdom, but one of the clearest is the table. The Father prepares a feast. Jesus invites the guests. The Spirit draws them in.
And at that table, believers from every background sit together: icons on one side, guitars and worship bands on the other, prayer books near one end, hands raised in praise near the other, contemplatives sitting quietly, evangelists full of passion, theologians with thick books, new believers with simple joy, pastors, priests, monks, missionaries, and people whose labels long ago fell away because love became enough.
At the Father’s table, no one sits because they earned a seat.
We sit because the Father wants us there.
