Identity Is Given, Not Earned
In our culture, identity is often something you create through success, self-expression, relationships, performance, reputation, others' approval, and your achievements. But in the kingdom of God, identity is not self-made; it is God-given.
We do not build our identity; we receive it.
We do not fight for our worth; we rest in it. We do not earn the Father’s delight; we awaken to it. We do not strive for belonging; we accept the belonging we already have.
Identity in the Father’s love is not the reward for maturity—it is the foundation for maturity.
