Living lightly in an adult world
Childlikeness is beautiful, but it doesn't come automatically. Life tends to drain softness, dampen joy, and turn wonder into worry. The pressures of adulthood—such as responsibility, deadlines, relationships, finances, and expectations—can force even the kindest person back into heaviness.
Yet Jesus invites us into a way of life where burdens are light, hearts are tender, and souls are unburdened. Not because responsibilities disappear, but because the way we bear them changes.
God wants us to maintain a childlike heart throughout life— not by escaping adulthood, but by transforming the way adulthood is experienced.
Living lightly isn't irresponsibility. It's spiritual harmony. It's relational freedom. It's the result of being loved.
It's how Jesus truly lived.
