October 10
Jesus reveals the Father’s unchanging love for you.
Many of us still find it hard to believe that God isn't just generally loving, but also specifically loving toward us. This is because, deep in our hearts, we often picture a Father who reflects the most broken parts of our own stories.
• A Father who might reject us
• A Father who might change His mind
• A Father who keeps His distance
• A Father who is disappointed
• A Father whose love must be earned
These internal images do not originate from the Father Jesus revealed. They stem from our wounds, fears, and experiences of human love—love that can be fragile, conditional, or inconsistent.
But the Father Jesus reveals remains constant. His heart is strong, not fragile. His love isn't based on conditions. His delight in us isn't dependent on our performance.
He is the Father we've always longed for.
