Christ Is Formed in Us, Not Forced by Us
Many believers secretly think: “If I were a better Christian, I would be more like Christ.” or “If I tried harder, I would be more loving, patient, or holy.”
But transformation is never the result of self-reconstruction. It comes from Christ living His life through us. As Paul says in Galatians 2:20: “It is no longer I who live, but Christ lives in me.”
This is not poetic exaggeration. It is a spiritual reality.
We do not imitate Jesus from a distance. We participate in His life.
He dwells in us.
His Spirit shapes our desires.
His love reshapes our identity.
His peace steadies our hearts.
His joy strengthens us.
We grow not by effort alone but by yielding to the One who already lives within us.
