The Father’s Heart Meets Us in the Ordinary
One of the most beautiful truths of the Christian life is that God does not wait for us to become spiritually mature before He draws near. He meets us in: the way we parent or grandparent; the conversations we have with a friend; the simple meals we prepare; the decisions we make at work; the responsibilities we carry.
The rest our bodies crave; the people we encourage; the creativity we express; the moments we feel unseen; the challenges we navigate; the fears we face; the long walks where we clear our minds. The tears we cry when no one else is there; and the gratitude that wells up unexpectedly.
The Father does not split life into “spiritual” and “ordinary.” To Him, everything is about relationships— and therefore everything is sacred.
