Recovering Joy in the Father’s Presence
Joy comes through connection, not effort. You can't force yourself into joy any more than a child can be told to laugh. Joy develops where the Father’s love is experienced. Joy blossoms when shame is lifted, fear is eased, we feel seen, safe, wanted, and at home.
Joy is the emotional echo of belonging. When the Spirit whispers, “You are My beloved”, joy begins to flicker. When the Father draws near, joy begins to warm. When love touches the tired places of the heart, joy begins to flow again.
Joy is not an achievement. It is the fruit of being held.
