Curiosity is Not the Enemy of Faith—It is the Engine of it
Many believers grew up hearing that questions were dangerous, that mystery should be avoided, and that uncertainty signaled weak faith.
But Scripture is full of curious people:
– Moses asking why the bush burned but was not consumed
– David asking, “What is man that You are mindful of him?”
– Mary asking, “How can this be?”
– Nicodemus asking how new birth is possible
– Thomas asking to see the wounds
– Paul asking to understand the mystery of Christ
Curiosity did not push them away from God. Instead, it drew them closer. Curiosity is love seeking expression. Curiosity is faith leaning forward.
Curiosity is the heart saying, “There is more of God to know.”
