The Shape of Christ in Us
When Christ is formed in us, we start to love as we are loved. We begin to forgive as we have been forgiven. We learn to rest as we are held. We give as we have received. We serve as Jesus served. We trust as Jesus trusted.
We walk in freedom instead of fear.
Transformation is not about becoming someone different than who we are. It is about becoming the person we were created to be from the beginning.
Grace doesn’t erase our personality. Grace redeems it. Grace doesn’t crush our uniqueness. Grace blesses it. Grace doesn’t suppress our humanity.
Grace fills it with divine life.
