The Freedom to Feel Everything
One of the greatest gifts of childlike innocence is emotional openness. Children feel intensely and without shame. They shift effortlessly from tears to laughter. They express themselves freely without self-editing.
Adults often lose this freedom, not because they grow wiser, but because they become guarded. Emotional expression seems risky. Tears seem inconvenient. Joy seems immature. Anger seems dangerous. Sadness seems unspiritual.
But emotional freedom is not the absence of boundaries—it is the presence of safety. Children feel freely because they trust the environment that holds them.
We regain emotional freedom when we reconnect with the Father who supports us. This does not make us unstable; it makes us genuine.
Emotionally free people are not controlled by their emotions— they simply no longer fear them.
