The Spirit Grows Us From the Inside Out
One of the most beautiful aspects of Christian transformation is its direction: Inside → Out… Not outside → in.
The Spirit begins by working in hidden places: our desires, attitudes, fears, wounds, beliefs, identity, self-image, and view of the Father.
And slowly, gently, faithfully—He brings forth fruit: love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, and self-control.
These are not human achievements.
They are the fruit of the Spirit.
Apples grow naturally from an apple tree because of its nature. Fruit grows naturally from the Spirit’s presence because of His nature. We are transformed not by willpower but by the life of God within us.
