What the Father’s Love Actually Looks Like
When Jesus referred to the Father, He used images filled with intimacy:
A Father who clothes the lilies and cares for the sparrows. A Father who knows the number of hairs on your head. A Father who sees you in secret. A Father who rewards your smallest act of trust.
A Father who knows what you need before you ask. A Father whose kingdom is already yours.
A Father who runs to embrace the lost. A Father who prepares a feast, not a lecture. A Father who goes out to both sons— the rebellious son and the responsible one.
This is the heart that Jesus reveals again and again: a Father who refuses to be anything but love. And His love is not abstract. It is not just doctrinal. It is not hidden behind ritual or theology. It is personal. It is relational. It is deeply felt. It is profoundly transformative.
This is why every part of the Christian story —from creation to redemption to new creation —is ultimately about a Father who desires His children and will go to any lengths to bring them home.
