Children surrender to love
Imagine a child waking up in the middle of the night during a storm. Lightning flashes. Thunder rattles the windows. Rain pounds the roof. The child feels fear for a moment—but then they run to their parents’ room, climb into bed, and find safety.
They don't apologize for needing comfort. They don't explain why they should be braver. They don't pretend they can handle it alone.
They surrender to love.
That yielding signifies humility.
And that kind of humility takes the Father’s breath away.
