March 2
If you want to understand what the Father is like, look at Jesus.
Everything Jesus is, the Father is. Everything Jesus does, the Father does. Everything Jesus feels, the Father feels. There is no difference between them.
There is no good cop/bad cop scenario in the Trinity. There is no distant Father behind the loving Son. Jesus is not the merciful one trying to soften the Father. Jesus is the revelation of the Father’s mercy.
And when Jesus gathers children into His arms, touches the untouchable, restores the broken, lifts the burdened, forgives freely, welcomes sinners, and dignifies the overlooked—He is revealing the Father’s exact heart.
When Jesus holds the little ones, it is the Father holding them.
And when He holds you, it is the Father’s arms around you.
