When You Feel Spiritually Tired
Even the most sincere believers go through seasons of spiritual fatigue — times when prayer feels burdensome, worship seems distant, Scripture requires effort, and faith itself feels exhausting rather than life-giving.
These moments can subtly evoke guilt or self-doubt, as if feeling tired indicates that something is wrong. But spiritual tiredness is not failure. It is part of being human. And the Father responds to your weariness not with disappointment, but with compassion.
Spiritual exhaustion often develops gradually. It comes from carrying too much for too long — trying to stay strong, trying to be hopeful, trying to meet expectations, trying to avoid disappointing others, and trying to hold everything together.
Over time, the soul simply whispers, “I’m tired.” When you're physically tired, rest is the solution. When you're emotionally tired, kindness is what you need.
When you're spiritually tired, it's important to receive from the One who loves you most.
