When You Feel Unworthy of Love
Few things hinder intimacy with God more than feeling unworthy of love. Many believers quietly carry persistent thoughts like: “I should be better by now,” “God must be disappointed in me,” “I keep failing,” or “I’m probably testing His patience.”
These thoughts often seem like humility, but they are not — they are wounds. Unworthiness is not something the Father rebukes; it is something He heals.
Shame whispers that you are a burden, a disappointment, or a problem to be managed. It suggests that God’s love is fragile, conditional, or easily worn out.
But the Father’s voice speaks a very different word — one rooted in truth and tenderness:
“You are My child. I delight in you. Nothing about you causes Me to turn away.”
