The Lie of “Not Enough”
Performance sends a clear message: “You are not enough." It appears in many forms: You’re not spiritual enough. You’re not committed enough. You’re not disciplined enough. You’re not mature enough. You’re not holy enough.
But Jesus never spoke these words over anyone. He said: “My yoke is easy.” “My burden is light.” “I call you friends.” “You did not choose Me; I chose you.” “Your Father knows what you need.” “Fear not, little flock— your Father is pleased to give you the kingdom.”
The Father is not looking for perfection—He is looking for trust.
