Jesus’ Identity Was Based on the Father’s Love
Before Jesus performed any miracles, preached any sermons, or drew crowds, the Father declared: “This is My beloved Son.” — Matthew 3:17
Identity preceded activity. Belovedness preceded mission. Affection preceded obedience. Jesus did everything from a secure place of being loved, not to earn that love.
This pattern applies to every believer.
The Father’s love is not the reward for faithfulness; it is the foundation of faithfulness.
