The Father’s Heart Gives Us Permission to Slow Down
Modern life pushes us to hurry: to perform, to succeed, to respond, to please, to fix, and to manage everything. But the Father never hurries His children.
Love is patient. So the Father is patient.
And when we live from His heart, we learn patience with ourselves. We allow ourselves to be human, to have limits, to rest, to breathe, to say no when needed, to grow gradually, and to live at the pace of grace.
The Father’s love slows the soul down so we can live attentively, not frantically.
