Remaining Doesn't Always Mean Feeling Loved
Some believers think staying in the Father’s love means always feeling emotionally certain. But staying connected isn’t about feelings.
It’s about trust.
Feelings change: some days we are aware; some days we feel spiritually quiet; some seasons feel dry; sometimes our hearts are heavy; life can be distracting; and we may go through valleys.
Feeling loved is beautiful, but it is not the foundation of staying. The foundation is the Father’s unchanging heart. Emotions change. Circumstances change. Spiritual seasons change. But the Father’s love does not.
Staying means we anchor ourselves in what is true, even when we do not feel it.
