Childlikeness Grows Where Love is Safe
If you want to identify where childlikeness is absent in someone’s life, look for fear, striving, guardedness, or emotional numbness. These are not quirks of personality; they are responses to survival.
Childlikeness cannot flourish in an environment of fear. Wonder cannot blossom where shame prevails. Trust cannot develop where love feels uncertain. This is why the journey toward childlikeness must start with a revelation of the Father’s heart.
You cannot become childlike through discipline, effort, or willpower.
Instead, you become childlike by encountering the Father who makes childlikeness possible.
