The Spirit shares Jesus' very own Abba with us.
Perhaps the greatest miracle in the entire gospel is this: The same Spirit who lived in Jesus now lives in us. The same Spirit who taught Jesus to say “Abba” teaches us to say it too. The same Spirit who united Jesus with the Father unites our hearts with Him.
We are able to pray “Abba” because Jesus shares His relationship with the Father with us through the Spirit. This is the miracle of sonship. This is the heartbeat of our identity. This is the gift of grace.
This is the power of “Abba, Father.”
