Childlikeness Not Childish
Jesus did not call us to childishness. He did not invite us to be irresponsible, impulsive, or naive. Childishness is self-centred; childlikeness is God centered.
Childishness demands and manipulates; childlikeness trusts and surrenders. Childishness denies reality; childlikeness faces reality with the expectation that the Father is present within it.
Being childlike isn't about escaping into simplicity—it's about rediscovering simplicity amid adult life's complexity. It's about returning to the honest, unpretentious, trusting stance we were meant for.
