The Father Responds to Wounds with Gentleness, Not Demands
God doesn’t tell you, “Stop protecting yourself.” He tells you, “Let Me protect you.” He doesn’t say, “Be more trusting.” He says, “See how trustworthy I am.” He doesn’t say, “Open your heart.” He says, “I will hold your heart while it opens.”
The Father never demands childlikeness from a distance. He fosters it through intimacy. This is why God's gentleness is such an important revelation. As written in Isaiah 46:3…A bruised reed He will not break, and a smoldering wick He will not snuff out.
He does not shame the weak. He restores them. He does not rush the broken. He carries them. He does not demand trust from the wounded. He earns it through love.
