Living Lightly Means Choosing Presence Over Pressure
Pressure comes from focusing on the future. Presence comes from living in the now.
Children live fully in the moment: they play without multitasking, notice beauty, savor moments, engage with curiosity, and enjoy simplicity.
Adults often live everywhere except in the present moment: – dwelling on past regrets – imagining future disasters – comparing themselves to others – replaying conversations – anticipating disappointments.
Living lightly means repeatedly returning to the present moment where grace truly exists. Grace is not in the imagined future or the replayed past.
Grace exists now.
