Our Differences Matter, but They Don’t Define Us
Whether we like it or not, the global Body of Christ does not appear uniform. We preach differently. We worship differently. We baptize differently. We interpret Scripture differently. We practice communion differently. We express spiritual gifts differently. We understand theology differently.
But beneath all these differences lies a deeper truth: We belong to the same Father, are united in the same Son, and live by the same Spirit. The differences matter—they shape our worship, understanding, and practice. But they are not the foundation of our unity.
Our unity comes from the Father’s embrace—an embrace wide enough to hold every sincere follower of Jesus.
