Gratitude Makes the Heart Light Again
Childlike hearts are light—easily lifted, easily delighted, easily moved. Adults carry burdens: responsibilities, regrets, unresolved conflicts, financial pressures, relational strains, and spiritual fatigue.
Gratitude doesn’t eliminate responsibilities, but it eases their burden by shifting focus from what is missing to what is present, from what is uncertain to what is true, from what is painful to what is possible, and from what is broken to what is being healed.
Gratitude is not escapism. Gratitude is clarity.
It reveals that goodness is still present, still active, still near.
