Our Impatience Does Not Hurry God—It Only Exhausts Us
When we try to speed up the Spirit’s work, we end up feeling frustrated, self-critical, anxious, discouraged, ashamed, spiritually exhausted, and disconnected from joy.
Impatience does not lead to transformation; it creates pressure.
And pressure is the opposite of grace. The Father is patient with you. He is not disappointed in your progress. He is not comparing you to others. He is not anxious for you to “hurry up and mature.”
He enjoys walking with you at your pace.
