You Have Nothing Left to Prove
If I could place one hand on your shoulder and look you in the eyes, I would tell you this: You do not need to prove anything to God. His delight in you is not based on how much you accomplish, how perfectly you behave, how consistently you pray, how spiritually impressive you appear, how strong you feel, or how well you perform.
You were loved first.
Before your first breath. Before your first step of faith. Before your best decision and before your worst mistake. You were loved before you ever knew His name.
Nothing you do can add to His affection. Nothing you fail at can diminish it. You do not need to prove your worth. You only need to receive it.
