Jesus embodies the Father’s heart in human form
Jesus is not just the Savior who saves us from sin; He is the Son who brings us home. He does not only take away our guilt; He restores our identity. He does not only reconcile us to God; He shows us that the God we're reconciled to has always been a Father.
This is why He prayed “Abba.” This is why He taught His disciples to start their prayers with “Father.” This is why He said, “Whoever has seen Me has seen the Father.” Jesus isn't just showing the way to the Father; He embodies the Father’s heart in human form.
He represents what the Father looks like in a language our hearts can understand. And He is the only one who shows us what true maturity looks like. Not independence, not self-sufficiency, not emotional detachment, but perfect trust.
Jesus—the most spiritually mature human who ever lived—was the most perfectly childlike.
