What Trust Actually Feels Like
People often ask, "How do I know if I’m trusting God?” Here are some signs:
Your heart relaxes - Trust feels like exhaling, like loosening your grip on outcomes, and like believing the Father already knows what you need.
You stop rehearsing worst-case scenarios - The imagination moves from fear to anticipation. Not naive optimism—just relational confidence.
You no longer fear being wrong - Trust allows you to move imperfectly. Children learn through stumbling, not planning.
You stop trying to control everything - You don’t need to micromanage everything. You know your Heavenly Father "has you."
You sense peace even when circumstances stay uncertain - Peace isn't the absence of trouble; it's the presence of Someone greater than the trouble.
You stop negotiating with God - No more internal bargains. No more “If I pray hard enough, God will…” Love replaces fear-based spirituality.
Trust feels like home—because that is what the Father is to His children.
