The Father Never Wanted a Performance-Based Family
Healthy families don't make their children earn love, belonging, or provision. They rejoice in giving. They love blessing others. They find happiness in caring.
However, many Christians unknowingly see God as a cautious giver—slow to bless, hesitant to give until we prove ourselves, reluctant to give unless we ask perfectly, obey flawlessly, or live
consistently.
But Jesus painted a very different picture of the Father—generous, attentive, eager, overflowing with kindness. This is why He said: “Fear not, little flock, for your Father has been pleased to give you the kingdom.”
Not sell it. Not loan it.
Not award it to high performers.
Give it.
Childlikeness begins where earning ends.
