Why Wonder Is a Spiritual Posture, Not a Personality Trait
Some people believe they are not naturally “wonder-filled” because they are not artistic, emotional, or expressive. But wonder has nothing to do with temperament. It is the heart’s reaction to the Father’s nearness.
Wonder is based on relationship, not personality.
This means: – You can be introverted and full of wonder. – You can be analytical and full of wonder. – You can be quiet and full of wonder. – You can be logical and full of wonder.
Wonder does not require emotional intensity; it requires openness. It requires the humility to admit that the world is more beautiful than we have allowed ourselves to see. And it requires trust—the belief that the One holding the universe is the same One holding us.
