Letting the Father rewrite Your Inner Script
Everyone carries an inner script — an ongoing story about who they are, how the world functions, and what they can expect from God and others. Much of this script forms early, shaped by experiences, relationships, disappointments, and wounds absorbed long before we had words to describe them.
Some parts of your inner script might be true and inspiring. But other parts could be based on fear, shame, or past pain. These messages often feel familiar and convincing.
“You’re on your own.”
“You’re too much.”
“You’re not enough.”
“You have to earn love.”
“You can’t trust anyone.”
“You always mess things up.”
“God is disappointed in you.”
These words might not shout, but they quietly influence reactions, relationships, and even how you connect with God.
But here is the hopeful truth: The Father is not leaving you trapped in an old story. He is rewriting your inner script with truth and love.
He replaces self-rejection with a sense of belonging. Fear with feelings of safety. Striving with periods of rest. Shame with a sense of dignity. Insecurity with a solid sense of identity.
