April 30
Letting the Father Heal the Wounded Places
Many people believe in God’s love, yet they carry wounds that quietly make it hard to receive it. Hurt spots. Forgotten spots. Fearful spots. Tender parts of the heart that learned to protect themselves long ago.
These wounds may stem from childhood pain, disappointment, loss, betrayal, or even from religion practiced without a relationship.
But here is the truth that gently reorients everything: The Father moves toward your wounds, not away from them.
Psalm 34:18 tells us that the Lord is close to the brokenhearted.
